Great bunch of guys that really know everything there is to know about boats and electronics. They did a great job on not only the electrical work but the servicing of my engines and props. Having a newer Searay I could not find anyone with the expertise to handle all of the electrical functions of the newer type engines. After meeting Greg and his son and seeing the other work they were doing I knew I was in the right hands. I had all new radar and audio installed and it was seamless. Not to mention it was completed in a timely fashion- this is why you need professionals. Thanks guys see you at the end of the season!!!!!

I have a marine business and have been using Precision since the late '90's. Two recent experiences motivated me to write a review that's long overdue. I put in a work order for a coolant leak on a 3-cylinder Universal Westerbeke recently. I suspected the heat exchanger but couldn't actually see the leak to prove it, and neither could an associate who is more of a mechanic than I. So, I gave up and made the call. They were backed up with existing jobs so it took awhile, but when they were able to make an appointment, they were ultra efficient as usual. The mechanic immediately verified that the heat exchanger was the issue and removed it to be repaired or replaced. Greg called later to advise that it was not worth repairing and gave me a quote for a new one. I agreed. The part came in when Greg said it would and they followed up to promptly come back and install it. The mechanic also very quickly advised me on other components I had questions about, including a leaky water pump that had inexplicably stopped leaking before the appointment. He said they often seal themselves and to just keep checking. He didn't try to sell me anything here. In a recent nor'easter of 4 days, a different boat swamped and the engine was totally submerged. I called them and in less than an hour, Roy was there to salvage the Yanmar. He was incredibly efficient and quickly blew out the water and changed the oil and tranny fluid twice as well as quickly looking over other things I asked him about. Every time I use Precision, I've had a different mechanic. Every time, they've quickly identified and fixed the problem. And it was always done correctly- no next time. Their labor rate is expensive. But, in this case, you get what you pay for. They are so efficient, reliable and consistent that the value can't be beat. I'd rather pay more per hour but buy- and consume- fewer hours, which therefore costs me less. My time is money and Precision saves me time.
