If you are reluctant to take your law mower, snow blower, weed trimmer, etc. to the local hardware store or small engine garage mechanic for repairs, fear no more. Here is a great alternative.
Go to Robbinsdale Marine. These guys do superb work at a reasonable price and they will turn your repair around as quickly as you can imagine. Understandably, if you want your lawn mower serviced on the first weekend of grass cutting season, you can expect their schedule may be a little cramped.
Nonetheless, I have taken my outboard motor there, my lawn mower, leaf blower and snow blower for various parts and adjustments over the years and I have always walked away completely satisfied with the workmanship and consistently fair labor cost.
As an example, at 8:30 am today I brought them my snow blower, which had a sheared pin in the right auger blade. I asked them to fix that and also change the oil. Three hours (that's hours, not days) later I received a call telling me my machine was ready to be picked up. They had also lubed it and adjusted the height on the front scoop bucket so my auger blades wouldn't drag on the driveway surface, which may have contributed to the pin shearing.
Total bill, including parts, labor and tax was $62.72 and they loaded it off and on my truck. They also sell new and used equipment, but I haven't had the opportunity to evaluate them on sales.
