I recently was helping a elderly friend at Keehi Marine Center on his boat, after being in boatyard for over 5 days I was verbally attacked and harassed by the Assistant Yard Operations Manager, a unbelievable display of unethical business practices and pure ignorance of any type of professional communication skills. The office manager(he witnessed the abuse) later in the day came to me to apologize for the other employees behavior, I then asked for the name and contact information for the abusive employees superior to file a formal complaint. Believe it or not, I was denied any information, I was then forced to send 2 certified generic letters to the Keehi Marine Center office to instigate a formal complaint. I actually thought my certified letters would be disposed of and that would be the end of it. Eventually I received a reply letter from someone I assume is the owner/manager of this business. This person had never taken the time to even contact me to hear my complaint, they formed a one sided opinion only talking to the abusive employee and continued making false accusations at myself in their letter. This business has a really bad management team in place, the person who is supposedly in charge runs rampant, verbally attacking persons and has the character of a bully and the office manager is to scared or intimidated to even give out information to file a complaint. Sounds like the business belief is better management through intimidation. A unprofessional and unbelievable visit to the Keehi Marine Center. I will never return or recommend this establishment to anyone.
