Roman has repaired my motor several times and has always done it quickly and professionally.

I have actually been here before to check if I could salvage my Bayliner. The owner was a little tough with his personality but I thought he was just looking out for me and joking around a bit. So when I brought my second boat to him for a repair question, he seemed to be annoyed. I thought that the tougher outer shell was just a friendly way to communicate but it turned out its his personality. I thought it was odd that he continued the persona even though I am a legitimate paying customer. He had rude responses like I was bothering him and that I should know more about the workings of my engine. My career is not focused on anything mechanical, so I try to leave those issues to the trained professionals. He may be the only local repair place in town, but I will travel elsewhere to get a better experience.

My family has always had a great experience at Boatworks by Roman, the owner Mr. Kruk has always repaired our boats promptly and correctly the first time. We also have never had any hesitation to bring our children into the store as Mr. Kruk has a strict no swearing policy for his shop unlike some other shops we have been at. This shop is a small Mom and Pop business that is professional and courteous and at times it may take a little longer to get the job done but that also means they are not taking any shortcuts to get the boat out the door and they have always called to give a status on the repair especially if it running a little behind. Nothing is worse than breaking down out on the water and waiting in addition to paying for a tow back to the dock. I have not needed to return any of my boats for failed repairs and as long as I have listened too and followed Mr. Kruk's instructions for care and maintenance of my boats, breaks downs and failures have been almost non-existent. I would recommend this business to my friends , family, and customers without hesitation. Thank You Mr. Kruk for years of great service and my family looks forward to seeing you in the fall for winterization and storage
