On this site in Essex Connecticut, the practice of building and repairing boats, yachts and ships has existed since the late 1700’s. Today the modern Essex Boat Works, LLC under its new ownership is a premier full service yacht maintenance facility providing outstanding craftsmanship by top skilled professionals in all of the marine trades. We offer all aspects of yacht maintenance for sailing and motor yachts and work with inboard, outboard, gas and diesel propulsion.
