Colony Marine in St. Clair Shores worked on my boat. Had a couple of problems. The first one was they forgot to tighten my prop up and if I hadn't checked it, it would have come off in the lake. The second one was I had them change the oil and when we started the motor for the first time it was running dry. Went to Colony to give them a chance to fix it. They told me the mechanic started it up and called his boss at Colony so he could hear it. They said my gas motor sounded like a diesel. Which I wasn't happy about. I told them that I was worried they had ran it for to long with no oil. They told me it was nothing they did to my motor and were pretty sure it was a manufacturer part defect. Then they told me they couldn't get me in for two weeks. Had to have another mechanic prime the pump to get the oil flowing again. Which was all that ended up being needed to fix the issue. Colony wanted to pull the motors and take it apart. Bad experience and will never be going back.
