Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard is a full service, year-round boat yard that has been serving the Cape and Islands for over 150 years. We offer a wide range of services with exceptional customer care. We service all sail and powerboats, from the small dinghy to 20-ton yachts. With our eight workboats, four trucks, and two hydraulic trailers Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard has the capability to take care of our customers any where on the Cape and the Islands, and with knowledge and expertise to meet all of your servicing needs. Established in 1856, Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard has over 150 years of maritime service. We began as a beachfront operation with horse drawn winches; during the Second World War we built honey barges and personnel crafts for the U.S. Navy; after this we progressed to designing and building the Vixen class boats. Finally, Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard progressed into today’s full service facility. Built by our past the Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard’s staff has great knowledge and expertise in boating and marine service.
