I bought an Encore SE 240 new in 2013 for $26,000.00, the paint is bubbling and chipping, the boat was always covered. Encore states they cannot match the paint for that boat and do not warrantee the paint. after 2 years?? Seriously?? what a rip off and beware that Encore does not stand behind what they build!!!!!

I bought a 2013 in 2014. It was on the showroom floor and always indoors. the boat is beautiful and we get many compliments on it. It's black with gold accents and the beige interior. I bought it with a Merc big foot 4 stroke. The boat rattled quite a bit at idle but when I trimmed up the motor a couple of ticks it went away. I did complain about the upholstery, particularly around the cup holders where the material is cut too short, and the drivers seat post wobbled because of worn plastic pieces, and the speedometer didn't work from day one. they replaced everything. I paid for the shipping on the seat $180. The new seat arrived and the material was all wrinkled and looked terrible. I repaired the original and threw the new one in the attic. Now after 2 summers the cover is shredding not around the seams but right in the middle of the material. Replacement cost $750 from a custom maker with a 5 year warranty. There are a few features I would like to see but at the price I paid ($20K), I can't complain.
