Ed is an exceptional professional with decades of experience surveying boats. He is also a wonderful teacher, eager to share his wisdom, pointing out key observations throughout his survey. I showed up to the boat 45 minutes before our scheduled start time for a pre-purchase survey and Ed was already there with a partner, doing his inspection on the outside. He was tremendously thorough and fair. I felt completely comfortable that he caught all of the safety issues and many recommended but not essential repairs. He invited me to follow closely as much as I wanted, sharing his notes along the way. At the conclusion, he spent all the time I wanted to answer questions. The report was very professional and delivered within 2 days (even though our survey was on a Friday). Strongly recommended.
