We also took our jet skis to Bass Annie cosmetic boat repair. We had some minor damages to the bottom of the hulls on both skis. We took them for estimate and were quoted 4500.00 dollars for all repairs. We thought it was high but she explained she would have to resurface them both to fix them properly. So we agreed and had to put down a 2500.00 dollar deposit. We asked at this time when the skis would be finished or how long it would take. She gave us a month to two months tops. Well two months went by and we never heard anything or any update or a call to come pick them up. We called about two and ahalf months gone by and she said the was just about finished and it would be about another week. Well this went back and fourth with us not knowing any new information then having to call and then getting the same response that they were almost done. Well five months later we got our skis back. We paid the rest of the balance on skis over looked them and they looked good. We took them out the next weekend on the water for the whole day. After getting them back to the house we looked under neath them and the majority of the paint was gone and we could see where they did repairs, fiberglass showing and there was an area that was taking on water. Ours skis had never taken on water til this point in time. We called Bass Annie and she came over to look and pick them up from our home. She tried to say it was a manufactuer problem with the paint and it was not bonding properly and she would take them back and fix them. Well again we asked how long it would take and she gave us a month time frame. Needless to say two months went by and we had contacted her twice during this time to hear the same old story. Well we picked them up couple days after the last time we spoke with her. We saw some flaws while we were overlooking them but nothing big but there were flaws we could see just by looking at them. We took them out the next day and again rode them all day and looked at them when we got them home. OH MY GOSH!!!!! Paint gone again but now we have a huge hole in one of our skis!!! We called again complaining of what had happened and she came over to tell us to let her take them again for the third time. She insisted we give her a third chance and that it was her right to get a third chance. We declined her that chance and we told her we wanted our money back. She said she could not do that but was willing to fix them again. We now are pursuing further action with our attorney. We have had about five estimates done on these skis ranging from oxford to collierville. All estimates have said that there is auto body filler and auto paint being used on these skis. They were suppose to apply gelco as well for a sealant and each estimate says there was none applied. During the estimates they found staples in the fiberglass which have no idea why they would be using staples. We have written to the better business burea and have hired an attorney . I definitely do not recommend this company.
